Democratically rooted!

As national youth council and umbrella organization of roughly 70 youth organizations in Switzerland, the SNYC advocates youth issues on political stages. The opinions the SNYC defends are rooted in general policy papers adopted by the general assembly.

Policy papers are available in German and French.

The SNYC lobbies for its members The SNYC relies on a vast network of important contacts in federal and regional administration and parliament to advocate youth interests on behalf of its member organizations.
