Action 72 hours

Turn Switzerland upside down in a race against the clock!

It's a simple yet intriguing idea: All over the country, groups of young people simultaneously plan and carry out their very own charitable projects - all within 72 hours. Whether it's the construction of a halfpipe for the kids in the village,a clean-up of a nature preserve or a fundrais-athon against hunger in Africa - anythign goes, as long as it's for the benefit of others. Participants are joining the adventure without money in their pockets. The idea is for them to find more creative ways to realize their project than just buying what they need - and for the local community to show their solidarity and support them with the necessary materials and skills.

The entire project is being followed closely by national media, radio stations broadcasting it into homes, offices and cars all oer Switzerland.

The last edition of Action 72 hours took place from September 9 to 12, 2010 and was a considerable success: More than 28'000 chlidren and youth accepted the challenge and truly turned Switzerland upside down within 72 hours.
