Take part

As part of its mandate from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the National Youth Council of Switzerland has CHF 80,000 at its disposal every year to give to Swiss youth organisations that are carrying out projects with youth organisations in selected target countries. For the period from 2015 to 2017, these countries are Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Moldova. In order to submit a project request, certain criteria must be met such as the type of project initiator, the geographical location, the topics covered and other basic conditions. You can find a checklist of the precise criteria and other detailed information here.

  1. Fill in the request form and the budget template and send them to the project management team by post or e-mail. If you have any questions or are unsure about anything, you can contact the project management team beforehand at any time.
  2. The National Youth Council of Switzerland holds a meeting once a month to evaluate these requests. You can therefore expect to receive a reply to your request two months after submission at the latest.
  3. The National Youth Council of Switzerland is on hand to support and advise you on the implementation of your project.
  4. Upon completion of the project, please send the final invoice and the concluding report to the National Youth Council of Switzerland.
